SciNight: Refraction Tickets

Experience Questacon after dark for a vivacious celebration of science and pride!

There will be performances that enchant, activities that provide connection, and science demonstrations that inspire.

Featuring:

• Flamingos from Dead Puppet Society: Marvel at full-sized flamboyant flappy-footed, illuminated flamingos in every colour of the rainbow.
• Qwire Performance: Be serenaded by Canberra’s inclusive LGBTQIA+ choir and join an interactive workshop.
• Community Corner Interactive Workshops: Engage with Meridian’s exciting activities and resources that build rainbow connections (with giveaways too).
• Questacon Colour Shows: Experience the science of refraction through light, bubbles, and explosions.
• Drag Performance: Enjoy smooth, sparkling nonsense from Dapper Drag King Guy Alias.
• Science Demonstrations: Explore the science of rainbows through hands-on activities in Q Lab!
• Pride Flag Scavenger Hunt: Discover hidden flags around Questacon that celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community.
• Mini Q Serenity: Unwind with face painting, story time, and a dedicated quiet space.
• Fuel to keep you going: Purchase drinks, cocktails and tasty bites from Atomic Café’s pop-up bars.

This inclusive LGBTQIA+ event is inspired by the rainbow and all its possibilities.

Strictly Adults Only, 18+

Please note: Food and beverages are not included in the cost of the ticket but can be purchased on the night. The ticket price includes entry to Questacon including all galleries, the Japan Theatre, and on-the-night activities such as programmed entertainment and workshops. Tickets are non-refundable 48 hours prior to the event.
