Choose from a range of ticketed areas set throughout the beautiful grounds of Taronga Zoo and the Taronga Centre. Whether you're looking for a relaxed picnic-style celebration under the stars or a premium all-inclusive experience, there’s a unique way for everyone to celebrate New Year's Eve at Taronga!

With breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour and premium vantage points for the city’s world-famous fireworks, it’s the perfect place to ring in the New Year.

Your ticket has the power to protect. Taronga is not-for-profit. Every dollar you spend saves wildlife, including helping us return more than 64,000 threatened animals to the wild, caring for thousands of injured wildlife at our Wildlife Hospitals, and breeding threatened species to insure against extinction.

Before you book

  • Ages 5+ only. All guests aged 5 years and over require a valid ticket
  • Ticket includes all food and a Limoncello Spritz on arrival only
  • Unreserved cocktail-style furniture and mixed seating for all guests, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • BYO food and beverages are not permitted.
  • Guests must remain within their designated ticket area for the duration of the event and cannot access other ticketed viewing areas or non-ticketed event spaces.
  • Your New Year’s Eve ticket does not include daytime Zoo entry. Guests must exit the Zoo by 4pm and re-enter the Zoo from their allocated time.
  • Please arrive at your allocated start time and follow the direction of event staff.
  • Access the Taronga car park via the entrance located at the end of Prince Albert Street, at the junction of Whiting Beach Road.
