Presented by: Floriade Australia
Join local ceramic artist and bonsai fanatic, Daniel Leone, as he demonstrates how to care for bonsai. Participants will leave with a Bonsai housed in a pot. Daniel Leone is a Canberra based multi-disciplinary artist specialising in ceramics. He creates surreal ceramics that are used as vessels to house a range of plants including bonsai, satiating his other passion, horticulture. Daniel is mad about bonsai, having dozens cared for in his home garden. With a plethora of different tree species, each needs special care which Daniel understands. Daniel’s passion for bonsai has seen him design and care for the Japanese garden at Koto Restaurant near Old Parliament House.
